What's New!
Spring Hill CemeteryA new Cemetery to this site. I've passed this Cemetery many many times while working as a Tax Accountant in Spring Hill, TN. For some reason, I had never stopped and walked through the stones. A lot of the stones are unreadable but the ones that are make this worth a visit! We just started adding photo to the Spring Hill Cemetery in Maury County, TN. This cemetery has names such as Moore, Brown, McKessick and Bruner.

Our travels, surveys and photographs
..... while researching my own Ancestors and discovering their journeys along with mine.
In Remembrance
This project of surveying, documenting and photographing tombstones, gravesites and cemeteries is done by volunteers. We started surveying, documenting and photographing cemeteries as a part of our own genealogy research. We quickly learned that many of our friends and family members also wanted information on their Ancestor's burial location.
We were repeatedly asked to snap a picture or locate a tombstone by others. Instead of just documenting one or two gravesites at a cemetery, we started documenting the entire cemetery. But what do we do with this data? We have uploaded to Find A Grave, Ancestry and My Heritage. We have linked families and corrected information along the way. There was still a convenient missing link of having the cemetery easily documented on one page with clear directions to the site. Instead of keeping all this data and all the unedited photographs to ourselves, this website was our answer on how to easily share with the World our (yours too!) Ancestor's resting place. Please make yourself aware of our photograph policy (listed below). All of the photographs throughout this website have been edited, mostly cropped, but we can share with you the full unedited photograph at your request. We do this in remembrance. We proudly photograph cemeteries as a sign of respect, love and faith that they will not be forgotten. They will be celebrated. |
Do not let us be forgotten. Bring a poesy to my grave. Tell us about your day. Say a prayer as you go along your way. ” |
What This Website Is NotThis website is not a pure genealogy website. It will not provide details on who is related to whom. There are many other places and services for that. This is strictly a photo website for Cemeteries and Tombstones.
Our Photo PolicyWe do not own someone's tombstone. All the cemeteries we have surveyed and photographed are on public land or private with permission. Although we have spent hours in the heat, cold, wind, rain, mud and then some, these photos are not ours, or yours, to own. These photos belong to all people of the world.
You have our permission to use any *tombstone* photograph within our website unless expressly noted otherwise. We do not have watermarks on any of our personally taken photos. We do require source credit with a link back to this website. WE DO NOT GIVE PERMISSION FOR ENTIRE CEMETERY COLLECTIONS TO BE DOWNLOADED AND THEN UPLOADED ON OTHER WEBSITES (i.e. Find A Grave, WikiTree, Ancestry, Family Search, etc). You have our permission to use any *tombstone* photograph within our website unless expressly noted otherwise. We do not have watermarks on any of our personally taken photos. We do require source credit with a link back to this website. Personal photographs and scenery photographs are copyrighted and not available for personal, private or business use. |
