My Childhood Memories....
Point Mountain Church Cemetery fills my childhood memories. It is the church where my beloved grandmother, Ina Bonner King MacLucas, is buried along with her two babies, sisters and parents. Many of my Summers were spent at Church picnics running around the grounds amongst the graves of those pictured.
My Grandfather, Ward King, use to give me a random name to find in the Cemetery and come back and tell him where it was located. I thought I was doing him a big favor by locating a long lost relative's grave but in reality he knew exactly where they were buried. He and Ina just wanted more time to talk to the other people at the picnic. I am very familiar with those that are buried here. If you have any questions on the families buried here, please contact me.
The first cemetery that I surveyed and documented was this one. I am related to the Bonner's, Hamrick's, Gregory's and Dodrill's.
